Aswan, Egypt - Approximately 2000 people rioted after police from an anti-drug unit killed Abdel Wahab Abdel Raziq, a bird-seller, in his apartment. Police said the man was harboring a drug dealer; witnesses said police entered the wrong house while pursuing another suspect. Angry citizens gathered at the hospital where Raziq died smashed windows, burned tires in the street and pelted police with stones.
