Manila, Philippines - Women's rights advocates and anti-imperialists held another protest outside the U.S. embassy demanding that the military surrender four U.S. marines charged with gang raping a 22-year-old Filipino woman last November. Prosecutors claim that Lance Cpl. Daniel Smith violently raped a woman he met at a bar while his fellow soldiers, Lance Cpl. Keith Silkwood, Lance Cpl. Dominic Duplantis, and Staff Sgt. Chad Carpentier, cheered him on. Warrants were issued for their arrest but the military has refused to turn them over to the Filipino authorities.
