Yakima, Washington, U.S. - Nine inmates escaped from the maximum security area of the Yakima County Jail by busting a whole through the ceiling of a cell and using bedsheets to make an improvised rope. Only four were able to evade recapture before exiting the jail grounds. Two of the four were caught yesterday morning hiding in the home of an immediate family member. The other two remain at large.
