Scotland - The writing is on the wall, the clowns have been sent in and Scottish authorities are bracing for chaos. The chaos, expected to coincide with the G8 meetings at Gleneagles Hotel north of Glasgow and Edinburgh, and is likely to be provided by anarchists who have done so in previous international summits. Many of these anarchists are organized loosely within and around the Dissent Network who have called for confrontational actions including blockades in order to shut down the meeting. The Clandestine Insurgent Rebel Clown Army (CIRCA), who have already been spotted in both Edinburgh and Glasgow may not be as clandestine as their name implies, are planning to use a less confrontational approach while protesting the summit which is scheduled to run July 6 through 8. Scottish authorities fearing that demonstrators will possibly overcome the temporary fence surrounding the Gleneagles resort and compromise the security have devised a number of contingency plans. Plan B would have the Eight world leaders relocated to a nearby castle were they and a small number of their aides can discuss world trade and other issues.
