Durango, Colorado - Environmentalist are suspected to be responsible for more than $100,000 sabotage campaign at Tamarron Resort´s new expansion effort. Late July 19, at least one individual trashed equipment at four separate construction sites where the luxury resort was expanding. The radical Earth Liberation Front first came to prominence after the highly publicized 1998 $12 Million arson at Vail Ski Resort in Colorado. In that case the resort was building on endangered lynx habitat. Rathjen Construction and Asphalt Paving Co. owner Bob Rathjen, has not ruled out that a disgruntled ex-employee may be responsible but says that who ever is "really did know how to sabotage the place."
