Palo Alto, California - Hundreds of rowdy and spirited anarchists took over some of the main streets of Palo Alto over the weekend as part of a Reclaim the Streets action organized by Anarchist Action. The crowd danced in the street to music broadcast through a sound system before moving towards the commercial district leave a trail of hastily made dumpster and newspaper box barricades and a number of broken windows. Police were overwhelmed and were forced to call for back up from four other municipalities. Palo Alto High School sophomore Keith Dunckel who was present described it as "a big radical movement.”
