People in Indian occupied Kashmir took to the streets chanting anti-government and anti-military slogans, following the rape of a young girl and her mother by soldiers. People were injured when police using bamboo sticks and teargas violently attempted to quell the demonstrations after four days. Protesters returned police tear gas canisters along with a barrage of stones and bricks.
