Residents of Benton Harbor, Michigan rioted Wednesday night, after holding a memorial for black motorist Terrance Shurn who died during a police chase one year ago. His death last year sparked two nights of rioting in the small predominately black city. Wednesday's demonstrators blocked streets and showered police with rocks and bottles, but were dispersed by a militarized police force employing armored personnel carriers, tear gas and other "non-lethal" weapons. Many people in Benton Harbor feel that they are unfairly profiled and harassed by police.
