Hundreds of cyclists took to Dublin's streets Friday, in the largest Critical Mass the city had ever seen. The following day thousands of anarchists, workers and anti-capitalists took to the streets in a number of actions and marches in opposition to borders and capitalism. Police used a water cannon against demonstrators; it was the first time one had been used in the South. The cannon had to be borrowed in advance from Northern Ireland.
